Review: Team A- Arian Foster (1st round), Adrian Peterson, (2nd round), Roddy White (3rd round), Miles Austin (4th round), Matt Ryan (5th round), Aaron Hernandez (6th round), Pierre Garcon (7th round), LeGarrette Blount (8th round) (1st overall ranked team after the 6th round)
For the final review I’ve gone ahead and updated the rosters through the 8th round but left the overall team rankings the same from after the 6th round and I’ve done so for a very specific reason. After the final round I will give overall team rankings for how the teams ended up and I want to show what I feel will be a significant difference in some of the team rankings after the final four rounds. As I mentioned earlier, a lot of guys have undiagnosed attention deficit disorder and as soon as they foul up one of their picks or someone grabs a guy that they thought for sure would be there in the later rounds, it begins to mess with their fantasy football mojo and they begin to lose interest. Now of course being an owner in the same league as these “ADD” guys allows for the opportunity to build additional depth on your roster, but that’s besides the point. DON’T BE THAT GUY that gives up on your team after you have your starting lineup because you are so sure of yourself you don’t even have the word “backup” in your vocabulary. Also, DON’T BE THAT GUY that sees a mistake or two made in the early rounds and wants to bite the proverbial bullet and say, “fuck it, maybe next year.” The draft isn’t over until it’s over and every pick matters until the very end, and that includes Defenses and Kickers, which I’ll have a rankings sheet included with the conclusion of this draft on Wednesday. Now all that being said, the final two rounds of the Stripe Hype Fantasy Football Mock Draft.
