Ed Reed is confused.

He is not sure how to play the cards that he has been dealt in the past year.

One card is his contract, in which the Ravens are refusing to give him as much as he thinks he deserves because of his age and previous injuries. The next card is the team that he is on, a team that went to the AFC Championship game last season and seems poised to repeat the feat this year as well. And on the flop has turned his own health, his own ability. And finally the river…his family.

A few days ago Reed tweeted out a picture of his yard and announced to the world that he was very comfortable at home. He said to tell the bosses that he is happy and that he may go ahead and retire if they do not up the contract that would land him 7.2 million dollars next season.
