Marvin Lewis said today he expects the following players who are currently on the PUP to be off list soon: WR Jordan Shipley, CB Nate Clements, DT Pat Sims, CB Dre Kirkpatrick, and K Mike Nugent. Dre Kirkpatrick is still expected to miss 2-4 weeks while his injured knee heals, and he continues to observe practice from the sidelines. Hopefully he’s getting some valuable mental reps.
Mike Nugent and Pat Sims are dealing with minor hamstring issues and should also return to practice soon.
DE Robert Geathers tweaked his knee in Friday’s first practice, and has joined the list of players that are not practicing today. Marvin Lewis did say he should return “soon.”
