Bengals Injury Tracker: Robert Geathers Still out with Injured Knee

Jan 07, 2012; Houston, TX, USA; Cincinnati Bengals defensive end

DE Robert Geathers (knee), CB Shaun Prater (knee), and DT Pat Sims (unkown) were all out today with minor injuries. Geathers is in an interesting situation, as his cap number for the 2012 season is over $4 million. If he continues to miss practice and lose reps to the surging Carlos Dunlap, as well as veterans Jamaal Anderson and Derick Harvey, he may find himself on the roster bubble going into final cuts. Mike Brown loves saving money, and going with younger, cheaper alternatives is something he’s always looking to do.

CB Dre Kirkpatrick continued to rehab his injured knee and watch practice from the sideline, and it is still unknown how long he will be out for.

Brandon Tate did practice after returning from a hamstring injury, but has been abesnt thus far from participating in 11-on-11 team drills.
