Ready or not, the Miami Dolphins premiere tonight on HBO’s ‘Hard Knocks. The show will air at 10 p.m. every Tuesday night from now through September 4th.

 

 

The NFL calls a report it has offered a settlement and reduced suspension to Saints linebacker Jonathan Vilma completely inaccurate.

Greg Jennings (concussion) has been officially ruled out for Thursday’s preseason opener.

 

The Seahawks have agreed to terms with WR Terrell Owens on a one-year contract. Owens is coming off an ACL injury and being out of the NFL for the past season, but with a depleted WR corps in Seattle, it won’t be a stretch to see him starting on opening day. He’s just 25 receptions away from being #3 all-time in career receptions.  The deal is one year at $925,000. He’ll make a $65,000 bonus if he makes the final 53-man roster.

 

TE Chris Cooley will play fullback in Redskins’ preseason opener.

 

Demaryius Thomas missed part of Broncos practice Monday after his Achilles tightened up.

 

Jets WR Santonio Holmes (bruised ribs) is doubtful for Friday’s preseason opener against the Bengals.

 

WR/PR/KR Josh Cribbs is listed as a third-string wide receiver on the Browns’ initial depth chart.
