AFC North Headlines: Worry-Time for Ravens’ D, & Cowboys interested in Jordan Shipley

If the first two preseason games are any indication of how the Ravens will fair this year, it may be time to start worrying about their defense after the Falcons and Lions scored easily against the first-team defense.

The Ravens are finally giving QB Joe Flacco’s the offensive reins this year and “putting more on his plate.”

Bengals fifth-round WR Marvin Jones is expected to earn a roster spot.

No one has had a better training camp than Steelers NT Steve McLendon.

Ravens offensive lineman Jah Reid had a setback with his right calf in Friday’s preseason game as he re-injured it.

Entering his 10th season, All-Pro Steelers safety Troy Polamalu is ready to take on an increased leadership role.

Bengals defensive tackle Pat Sims is one of the team’s best run-stoppers, but ankle injuries have kept him on the PUP list thus far, but may be coming off of it soon.

The Cowboys may be interested in former Bengals WR Jordan Shipley.

Browns fourth-round WR Travis Benjamin returned to practice Friday after he missed Thursday’s preseason game after sitting out all week.
