With the third preseason game coming up, it’s definitely going to be a game to watch. The Packers have a high powered offense, so it’s going to be an interesting match up overall. In this game, we will be able to see how the secondary fairs up against arguably the leagues best passing game and see if Leon Hall is 100% healthy. Also, because of the Packers having a high powered offense, it will be interesting to see how the Bengals fair against a team that puts up many points.
The Bengals offense will go against a defense that specializes in turnovers, so Andy Dalton will definitely have to show his decision making skills in this game. The past two preseason games, the Bengals first team offense scored 13 points, but had numerous chances to actually score 21 points. Dalton has yet to throw an interception, and Tate and Binns are fighting hard for the #2 WR spot.
This game could have a lot of indication on the last roster. Vontaze Burfict has looked good while he was put in and obviously has the coaches eyes. Dontay Moch has seen limited action and many saw him on the bubble, but while he has been on the field he has been a force with his pass rushing skills. These are two very young linebackers whom seem to be showing great flashes of talent that could one day make a case for them to be starters on this defense. Those are two players to definitely watch throughout the rest of the preseason games.
