AFC North Headlines: Steelers WR Mike Wallace to Report this Weekend

The Steelers expect holdout WR Mike Wallace to arrive in Pittsburgh this weekend and sign his one-year, $2.742 million contract after they return from Buffalo Saturday night.

The Browns announced they will keep QB Thad Lewis as a developmental #3 quarterback this season, leaving either Colt McCoy or Seneca Wallace as cut candidates very soon if they’re not traded. Despite all of the trade speculation, Colt McCoy remains committed to Cleveland and has stressed that he does not wish to be traded.

There’s a growing belief that Steelers WR Mike Wallace will be reporting to camp this week.

Steelers CB Ike Taylor is leading opportunistic defense.

The Bengals’ inexperience at the wide receiver position is unparalleled, and could hinder the teams’ goals of a repeat playoff berth if they can’t find a true compliment to PRo Bowler A.J. Green.

Undrafted rookie RB Bobby Rainey is likely to become the Ravens’ #3 RB after having a solid preseason.

The Ravens have indicated that they will make no attempt to conserve RB Ray Rice by reducing his touches.

Injured Ravens tight ends Ed Dickson (shoulder) and Dennis Pitta (hand) remain optimistic that they’ll be ready for the season opener against the Bengals.

Browns RB Trent Richardson (knee scope) is expected to be “all systems go” for Week 1.
