We have all suffered through having to watch Chris Crocker blow coverages in the past. We have had to watch Taylor Mays run his own players over this preseason, hurting more than one of them. Safety is a huge position of need for the Bengals in this up coming draft. Never too early to start looking at guys to fill that void. Eric Reid, FS for the LSU Tigers is the #1 safety on most peoples boards.

Reid played safety last year for the Tigers and really broke out for them. He looks to be a center fielder type safety who has the speed to make plays on the ball, but is also tough enough to come up in run support and tackle the bruising running backs in the NFL. Eric Reid is being compared by many to the #7 draft pick in the 2012 draft Mark Barron.

Reid’s Measurables:

Height: 6-2

Weight: 208

40 Time: 4.5
