Bengals Injury Report and Final Preseason Game News

Several interesting bits of news came out of Bengals practice today concerning the injured players on the verge of returning, as well as the teams’ plan for the starters in their preseason finale against the Colts Thursday night in Indianapolis.

Injured CB Adam Jones said he will play in Thursday’s game after missing much of training camp and every preseason game to date with a leg injury.

First-round CB Dre Kirkpatrick said he is still in the process of testing his injured knee to see if he will be healthy enough to play Thursday.

NFL teams often rest their starters during their final preseason games, but the Bengals’ starters will get some playing time in their finale. QB Andy Dalton revealed that the plan as of now is to give the starters one series vs the Colts before getting pulled.

This will be the final week of the preseason, and the regular season of NFL football is amongst us my friends. Who Dey!
