Seelers guard David DeCastro dislocated his knee cap, tore his medial collateral ligament, and suffered some damage to patellar tendon in their preseason game against the Bills Saturday night. The good news is his anterior cruciate ligament is intact, but the Steelers still are unsure if or when he will be able to return this season. Jason LaCanfora also reported that he did not suffer a torn ACL:

WR Mike Wallace is now expected to report to the Steelers on Tuesday, which will give him just one week to get up to speed in new OC Todd Haley’s offense.
Browns RB Brandon Jackson opened Sunday’s practice with the first-team offense as Montario Hardesty was held out with a lower right leg injury. Hardesty has also had fumbling issues this preseason, amd he may find himself as the third-string RB if he can’t hang on to the ball.
Bengals CB Adam Jones said Aunday he plans on playing the teams’ preseason finale against the Colts. Jones was vying to be the Bengals nickle CB, as well as the primary punt returner, but an injury plagued training camp may have put him on the roster bubble. CB Jason Allen also announced he will debut Thursday.
In order to get their roster numbers down, the Ravens have cut kicker Billy Cundiff, center Cecil Newton, the brother of Panthers QB Cam Newton, CB Jordan Maybin, LS Patrick Scales, QB Chester Stewart, WR Patrick Williams, WR Devin Goda, and OL Addison Lawrence. The Cundiff cut is the most significant, as he had been a good kicker for the Ravens, and the move will save the team $2.2 million.
