NFL teams have until 4 PM EDT on Monday, August 27 to cut their rosters from 90 players to 75 players. The Bengals are currently standing at 76-men strong, but one unfortunate player will be given his walking papers today.
The likeliest candidates are WR Vidal Hazelton, WR Kashif Moore, OT Matthew O’Donnell, and LB Grant Hunter. Those are the players who have been unable to get hardly any reps in practice, and haven’t gotten many, if any snaps in the teams’ first three preseason games either.
After them, there’s a group of players that could be cut, but could also be saved for a potential spot on the practice squad. That group includes RB Jourdan Brooks, LS Bryce Davis, CB T.J. Heath, and CB Chris Lewis-Harris.
The rest of the Bengals roster appears safe for at least one more week. Out of the above players, who do you think will/should be cut today to get the roster down to 75?
