The Bengals announced seven players they’ve signed onto the team’s practice squad. There are 8 spots avalible, so the team could be working the waiver wire to find a player worthy of adding to it. Here is the list as of now:
RB Daniel Herron
OG Otis Hudson
QB Zac Robinson
RB Jourdan Brooks
CB Chris Lewis-Harris
OLB Emmanuel Lamur
LS Bryce Davis
We can’t forget about DT Pat Sims, who is currently on the PUP list and will be eligible to return after the first 6 weeks of the season, and DE/OLB Dontay Moch, who is currently suspended for the first four games due to using a banned substance. If these players do return in are kept on the roster, we believe the likeliest two players to be cut from the roster are WR Ryan Whalen and safety George Iloka, because neither player is likely to have been active enough games to compromise their practice squad eligibility. This allows the Bengals to essentially add Sims and Moch without actually losing Whalen or Iloka, that is, if they’re able to make it through waivers to make it onto the Bengals practice squad.
The Bengals have also announced no more transactions will be made today:
