Bengals-Ravens Injury Report:

For the Baltimore Ravens, only 3 players are o then injury report. Offensive guard/tackle Jah Reid is suffering from a calf strain and didn’t practice today. He had been battling Bobbie Williams  for the starting left guard spot. Limited in practice was safety Sean Considene with a head injury. Rookie linebacker Courtney Upshaw did practice despite suffering from a a shoulder injury.

Ravens TEs Dennis Pitta (hand surgery) and Ed Dickson (shoulder) are not on the Week 1 injury report.

For the Bengals, CB Jason Allen is now missing practice, which now puts his status for the Monday night opener in question. He’s recovering from a quad injury he suffered in the beginning of training camp, and was expected to challenge Adam Jones for the nickle-corner spot, but both players missed essentially all of the preseason with injuries. The Ravens are set to open the passing game up more in 2012, and this banged up Bengals secondary will have a tough time keeping up if that is indeed the case.

CB Dre Kirkpatrick, DE Carlos Dunlap and RB Bernard Scott were also not practicing Thursday. Scott and Kirk have already been ruled out, while Dunlap is not officially out, but Joe Reedy believes he’s as good as out:

With the Bengals not playing until Monday night, that does give Dunlap and Allen an extra day of recovery, so there’s still a chance one, if not both players could suit up for the teams’ opener against the Ravens at 7:00 p.m. on ESPN Monday Night Football.
