Scouting the AFC North: Ravens offense now Running Through Joe Flacco

RB Ray Rice revealed what had been speculated all offseason that the Ravens offense now runs through QB Joe Flacco in a more wide-open attack.

 

Browns CB Joe Haden not only revealed on Friday that he will in fact play in the teams’ opener, but will mirror Eagles Pro-Bowl WR DeSean Jackson in coverage, in what should be one of the best week 1 matchups of any position.

 

Steelers RB Isaac Redman practiced fully Friday and is listed as probable for Week 1 at Denver, but despite practicing again on Friday, Rashard Mendenhall is listed as doubtful for Week 1.

 

Suspended OLB Scott Fujita has been reinstated to the Browns’ active roster after Friday’s appeals ruling in the Bounty case, and is eligible to play against the Eagles on Sunday.

 

Browns TEs Ben Watson (leg) and Jordan Cameron (groin) are questionable for Week 1 against the Eagles.

 

Taylor Mays has earned the Bengals’ starting strong safety job after battling Jeromy Miles for much of the offseason.

 

Journeyman linebacker Kaluka Maiava will enter the season as the Browns’ starting weak-side linebacker.

 

Browns released DL Scott Paxson with an injury settlement.
