Bengals - Browns Injury Report: Carlos Dunlap Returns, & Joe Thomas Limited

RB Bernard Scott (hand) and DE Carlos Dunlap (knee) both returned to practice Wednesday. Scott has missed nearly all of the preseason after injuring his hand the first week of August. Dunlap has been out since August 10th when he sprained his knee against the Jets. BenJarvus Green-Ellis was in for 75% of the Bengals offensive snaps last week, but with Scott’s return, expect to see that percentage go down.

CB Jason Allen (quad) and safety George Iloka(ankle) were both limited in practice. Allen has suffered from this same quad injury since the beginning of training camp, and Iloka injured his ankle Monday against the Ravens.

TE Donald Lee missed practice with a thigh injury. Its unknown as to whether that was what caused him to be scratched from Monday’s game.

CB Adam Jones missed practice with an undisclosed illness.

As for the Browns injury report, All-Pro offensive tackle Joe Thomas was the most notable name on the injury report. He was limited in practice with a knee injury, but is expected to start vs. the Bengals on Sunday.

LB James-Michael Johnson (ribs/oblique) and safety Ray Ventrone (hand) did not practice.

Limited in practice was OT Oniel Cousins (ankle), OG John Greco (calf), and TE Ben Watson (thigh).

The Browns also announced they have reached an injury settlement with DT Scott Paxson. They’ll be able to re-sign him 6 weeks after it expires.
