After last week’s defensive collapse vs. the Ravens, the Bengals may have decided they need to bring in some outside help, though the player they’re reportedly bringing in is pretty familiar with the team:

The instagram photo in question was this on Roddrick Muckelroy’s account. Its worth noting Thomas Howard was limited in practice today with a knee injury, so this could be related to that. Or it could be related to Rey Maualuga being one of the worst starting middle linebackers in the NFL. Whatever the case may be, its nice to see Muck back with the Bengals, as he was one of the better performers of the preseason, and looked like a player fully capable of competing with Maualuga for the starting MLB job. Don’t be surprised to see him suit up Sunday against the Browns, especially if Howard doesn’t play.
