The Bears believe the injury that RB Matt Forte suffered in  Thursday’s loss to the Packers is a high-ankle sprain. High-ankle sprains normally keep players sidelined around four weeks, meaning it may be time for Michael Bush to step up in his place going forward.

On to the game, the Packers handled the Bears easily last night as they notched a 23-10 win over their NFC North rivals. With 3.5 sacks last night, OLB Clay Matthews has already matched his 2011 total of six. RB Cedric Benson rushed 20 times for 81 yards and caught four passes for 35 yards. Aaron Rodgers completed 22/32 passes for 219 yards, one touchdown and one interception.  Bears QB Jay Cutler was sacked seven times, completed just 11/27 passes for 126 yards, one touchdown, threw four interceptions, and was dropped by any fantasy team I own him on. Both teams now stand at 1-1.

The Eagles are dealing with injuries to both of their top wideouts, though DeSean Jackson’s hamstring injury is not believed to be as serious as Jeremy Maclin’s hip flexor. Jackson is expected to play Sunday vs. the Ravens, while Maclin’s status remains in question.

The Seahawks have no interest in veteran receivers Terrell Owens, Chad Johnson and Plaxico Burress. WR Sidney Rice (knee) was held out of practice again on Thursday, but the team isn’t looking to bring in another receiver in case he misses games for now RB Marshawn Lynch (back) was limited again in Thursday’s practice.
