The Bengals have updated their injury report for today, and practicing fully was DE Carlos Dunlap, and remains likely to make his 2012 debut this Sunday vs. the Redskins. The Bengals will need a huge boost from Dunlap after they lost DE Jamaal Anderson to a season-ending knee injury, and hopefully Dunlap can stay healthy the rest of the year and play at the Pro-Bowl level he’s capable of when he’s able to stay on the field consistently.
| Name | Position | Injury | Wed. | Thu. | Fri. | Game Status |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Allen, Jason | CB | Thigh | FP | - | - | - |
| Dunlap, Carlos | DE | Knee | FP | - | - | - |
| Geathers, Robert | DE | Groin | LP | - | - | - |
| Hall, Leon | CB | Calf | LP | - | - | - |
| Kirkpatrick, Dre | CB | Knee | DNP | - | - | - |
| Lee, Donald | TE | Thigh | LP | - | - | - |
| Miles, Jeromy | S | Hip | LP | - | - | - |
| Scott, Bernard | RB | Hand | FP | - | - | - |
| Zeitler, Kevin | G | Hip | LP | - | - | - |
RB Bernard Scott (hand) was also back on the field and was a full participant, boosting his chances of playing Sunday significantly. Scott will provide an added boost to an already-improved running game, as he is faster and a better receiving threat than BenJarvus Green-Ellis.
Its concerning to see CB Leon Hall being limited in practice with a sore calf, which is likely the result of his Achilles injury he is still recovering from apparently. Hopefully he can play out the year without it flaring up to much, and eventually get back to his Pro-Bowl form.
