Bengals and Jaguars in the Power Rankings

Its time for our weekly look at where the Bengals rank among the 32 NFL teams in the minds of some of the most prominent sports minds there are(sarcastically stated):

ESPN put the Bengals at #15, up 1 spot form last year and ahead of the Steelers:

First time in seven years that the Bengals have won two straight in which they’ve scored more than 30 points.

Pro Football Talk had an interesting but true take on the Bengals’ most resent win as they pegged them at #14:

14. Bengals: Finally, the Bengals won a game they were supposed to lose.

Cincinnati.com (with a slight bit of homerism) gave the Bengals their highest ranking, palcing them at #12

 12. Cincinnati Bengals (2-1) The Bengals looked strong in their win over the Redskins. Andy Dalton threw for more than 300 yards, and A.J. Green had his first dominant game.

NFL.com placed the Bengals at #15, 1 spot behind the Steelers.

As for the Bengals’ next opponent, the Jacksonville Jaguars, they haven’t been shown much respect in the power rankings, despite their 2-1 record. PFT had them at #28, ESPN at #30, and NFL pegged them at #30 as well.

Where do you think the Bengals rank against the other 31 NFL Teams? We’d love to hear your opinions in the comment section.
