Morning Headlines: Week 5 Injury Roundup



Titans WR Kenny Britt said Friday that he is unlikely to play this week after aggravating his injury trying to practice on Thursday.


Patriots TE Aaron Hernandez (ankle) has a shot to play this week, but was limited in Friday’s practice and is listed as questionable for Week 5.


Rams WR Danny Amendola has been diagnosed with a sternoclavicular joint separation and is expected to miss six weeks.


Chargers Head Coach Norv Turner continues to be noncommittal on who the teams’ starting RB will be Sunday night when they take on the Saints. JAckie Battle has emrged as of late and is threatening incumbent starter Ryan Matthews for playing time, as well the full-time starting role.


Redskins WR Pierre Garçon isn’t 100% yet, but he’s probable for Sunday’s game.


Vikings LB Chad Greenway has been fined $21,000 for his illegal hit on Lions WR Calvin Johnson


Chiefs DE Glenn Dorsey (calf) has been ruled out for Week 5.


The Steelers have listed RB Rashard Mendenhall, safety, Troy Polamalu, and OLB James Harrison as probable for Sunday’s game against the Eagles.
