It is time to give Andy Dalton’s opinion more weight in your decision making. How do you expect the team to have faith in him if you don’t? 4th and 5 at the Mia 23 yard line with 3:00 minutes to go and you kick a field goal to CUT THE LEAD? Dalton obviously wanted to go for it. You were having a tough time all game moving the ball. Forget the fact that Mike Nugent chokes more than Mama Cass. This is what Dalton excels at. You have to give him a shot. Just like gaining a little more power from Mike Brown helped this team, giving your QB more power will do the same.

This is a huge loss considering the brutality of the schedule down the road. Sunday’s game against at Cleveland is going to be very difficult. Joe Haden is back, and the Browns will be playing desperate. Whatever mistakes that made the Browns look like the Greatest Show on Turf must be resolved asap.

You can bet teams will be imitating the Dolphins defensive game plan, so for the rest of the season teams will bet Benjarvus can’t make them pay. It’s time the team shows he can. The Bengals defense has played better the last couple of weeks, but they need to be dominant. The defensive line has to play at a level that no other team has seen. The young guys have to step up. The rotation is the key.
Despite the misery of yesterday the Bengals currently have a playoff spot. There is no better way to show you are going to defend it than kicking the Browns right in their mouths.
