With the Bengals dropping their second straight game this’s week, their record stands at a mere 3-3. This time, turnovers killed the team that showed a lot of promise at the beginning of the year. Through the first six games, the Bengals were projected to go 5-1, but so far it has been a disappointment. The schedule doesn’t get any easier. The Bengals have still got two games against the Steelers to play, along with games against the Broncos, Cowboys, Chargers, Eagles, and Ravens. Then there is the game against the Raiders, but as we saw for the past two weeks, no team should be taken lightly, and with all the turnovers, the road will just get harder and harder.
As of right now, Andy Dalton has 9 interceptions, one of the most in the league. He has 6 straight games with at least one interception.
BenJarvus Green-Ellis had fumbled in three straight games before this week.
The defense is still giving up big plays.
If this keeps up, it will be a long season in the Queen City, but if the Bengals somehow straighten up their act, there is still hope for the playoffs. The Bengals just need to play smarter.
