Despite center Kyle Cook being eligible to return to practice this week, he will not practice and doesn’t look like he’ll be ready to play anytime soon.

Ben Roethlisberger left practice Thursday with a right ankle injury but it’s not considered serious. It was however the same right ankle he badly sprained last season.

Rashard Mendenhall (Achilles) and Isaac Redman (ankle) were held out of practice again on Thursday. Redman’s injury appeares to be the more serious of the two, but there is a small chance that neither suits up for Sunday’s AFC North showdown.

Maurkice Pouncey revealed today that his status for Sunday’s game may be determined as early as Friday afternoon shortly after practice ends.
