Scouting the AFC North: Steelers & Ravens Injury Woes Continue

With a number of offensive line starters banged up, and RT Marcus Gilbert set to miss the next couple of weeks with a hyperextended right knee, Steelers rookie OT Mike Adams is quickly finding his footing on a patchwork line.

In his weekly you tube radio show, Steelers CB Ike Tsylor called out the Pittsburgh media regarding stats and facts being put out about his team.

When the NFL heads to London in 2013, the Vikings will be hosting the Steelers on September 29th, 2013, at Wembley Stadium.

Despite suffering a torn triceps that will likely cost him the remainder of the 2012 season, Ravens MLB Ray Lewis has already vowed to return for an 18th season in 2013.

Safety Ed Reed revealed in a Wednesday radio interview that he’s playing through a torn labrum in his shoulderBaltimore can’t seem to catch a break on the injury front, and if the injury continues to get worse, it will greatly hinder the best defensive back the Ravens have right now, and arguably one of the games’ best safeties currently playing.

All-Pro LB Terrell Suggs is targeting Sunday’s game vs. the Houston Texans as his return date. from his achilles tendon tear suffered this offseason. This would greatly affect the AFC North, as Suggs was expected to not return until mid-November at the earliest. With his return, it would help offset the resent losses of Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb. The Ravens do not however expect Suggs to return this week.

Now that Jimmy Haslam and Joe Banner are in full control of the Cleveland Browns, both men are seeking to revitalize the once proud franchise that never seemed to reclaim it’s glory days when it returned to Cleveland.
