Latest NFL Week 8 Injury Report: Jordy Nelson, Logan Mankins Out. Randall Cobb In.

Packers WR Jordy Nelson is inactive today vs. the Jaguars with a hamstring injury. Randall Cobb will start in his place.

Redskins LB London Fletcher will play today vs. the Steelers, keeping his streak of 232 consecutive games played intact.

The rest of the notable inactives include Skins WR Pierre Garcon, Pats OG Logan Mankins, Rams WR Danny Amendola, Pitt RBs Rashard Mendenhall & Isaac Redman, Falcons WR Harry Douglas, and Seahawks WR Braylon Edwards.

The Jets will be without starting middle linebacker Bart Scott when they face the Miami Dolphins today, as he has been ruled out with a toe injury. Scott has played in 119 consecutive games, but that streak will come to an end today.

The Jaguars are listing QB Blaine Gabbert as probable for today’s game at Green Bay, despite the fact he suffered a torn labrum in his non-throwing shoulder.

The Steelers will once again be without safety Troy Polamalu, as his right calf injury which has limited him to just two games thus far is becoming a serious concern.

Broncos CB Tracy Porter (illness) is unlikely to play tonight against the Saints.

Giants safety Kenny Phillips (knee) and DT Rocky Bernard (quadriceps) have been ruled out for today’s NFC East showdown with the Cowboys.

Eagles rookie guard Dennis Kelly will make his first career start today in place of G Danny Watkins, who has an ankle injury.

Seahawks DT Jason Jones (ankle) is doubtful for today’s game against the Lions.

Packers OT Derek Sherrod, the teams’ 2011 first-round draft pick, is unlikely to play this season as he recovers from the broken leg he suffered last season.
