Afternoon Headlines: Latest NFL Trade Rumors as Deadline Moved to Thursday

 

 

The NFL has announced that the Week 8 trading deadline has been extended by two days, to Thursday at 4:00 p.m. ET, meaning it technically falls into Week 9, but who’s really counting, as the Bengals aren’t expected to make any moves, at least according to Head Coach Marvin Lewis.

 

The St. Louis Rams have reportedly fielded trade offers from multiple teams regarding the availability of runningback Steven Jackson.

 

Panthers Head Coach Ron Rivera isn’t commenting on runningback DeAngelo Williams trade rumors.

 

The Philadelphia Eagles will likely make a QB switch from Michael Vick to rookie Nick Foles. Its unclear if the team would opt to trade Vick if they do move on from him, though it is unlikely.

 

The Dallas Cowboys may be prepared to move on from incumbent runningback Felix Jones after gaining only 19 yards on 13 carries while committing a fumble in the teams’ 29-24 loss to the New York Giants on Sunday.
