As Hurricane Sandy rips through the east coast leaving a wake of destruction in its’ path, many lives are being lost or changed forever, and our thoughts and prayers go out to them. Though football can’t measure up to the importance of human life, the game will go on this weekend, and the NFL stated today there’s been no damage to MetLife Stadium in New York and they are preparing to have the Giants play the Steelers as scheduled on Sunday.

Ravens offensive tackle Bryant McKinnie is being sued by the owner of several Miami strip clubs for over $375,000 of unpaid bills. McKinnie racked up the bills between February 2009 and September 2010.

Surprisingly, one of the Browns’ biggest factors in Sunday’s upset-win over the San Diego Chargers was the team making a switch at fullback by going with third-string Alex Smith over Owen Marecic, and this move could be permanent. Smith, a tight end, played 23 snaps at fullback and opened up some holes for Trent Richardson on his 26-yard touchdown run. Richardson finished with a career-high 122 yards.
