As week 9 of the NFL season ended last night with the Saints defeating the Eagles on Monday night football and the clock struck midnight, it officially marked the beginning of Election Day 2012, but more importantly, the release of the long-awaited Halo 4. In all seriousness, get out and go vote for who you think is best suited to lead our country for the next four years, and then reward yourself with a little Halo once you’ve done your civic duty.


Despite suffering a high ankle sprain during Sunday’s loss to the Buccaneers, Raiders Head Coach Dennis Allen told reporters Monday that RB Darren McFadden has not been ruled out for Week 10 against Baltimore.


Former NFL Commissioner Paul Tagliabue won’t recuse himself from the bounty case internal appeal process.


Conflicting reports emerged yesterday as to whether the New Orleans Saints can negotiate with former/current Head Coach Sean Payton after the NFL voided his current contract.


Titans QB Jake Locker (shoulder) could return to the starting lineup  in Week 10 against the Dolphins.


Packers outside linebacker Clay Matthews could miss a couple weeks with his hamstring strain.


Broncos RG Chris Kuper is out 2-4 weeks with a severe left ankle sprain he suffered vs. the Bengals on Sunday.


Jaguars CB Rashean Mathis (groin) did not practice on Monday and has missed the last two weeks with the injury, and doesn’t appear he’ll be ready to play Thursday night against the Colts.
