Starting center Jeff Faine was limited in practice with an injured hamstring, the same injury that limited his backup, rookie Trevor Robinson during today’s session.

After missing much of the past six moths of football activities with a knee injury, first-round CB Dre Kirkpatrick is now suffering from a thigh injury.

WR Hakeem Nicks’ was limited with a swollen knee after missing Wednesday’s practice session.

OLB Keith Rivers was limited with a calf injury, the same injury that caused him to miss Sunday’s loss vs. the Steelers, and prompted Giants Head Coach Tom Coughlin to say what Bengals fans felt all too often during his four years in Cincinnati:

I’d like to see him get on the field and stay there and I’m sure he would too.
