The 3-5 Bengals don’t have much momentum going for them as the angry New York Giants come to town. It’s the game that concludes their three-game homestand in Cincinnati, and could very well end in a five-game losing streak.

In that streak marred by poor performance on both sides of the ball, there have been some bright spots. Andy Dalton has shown he can throw the ball fairly well under pressure, and once an established run game is developed, he’ll be much more efficient. The defensive line continues go be one of the league’s best, holding their 23 sacks of opposing quarterbacks. However, the single stand-out player on this young Bengals team has been the 24 year-old wide receiver out of Georgia. A.J. Green. Just saying the name already has defenses preparing their double coverage schemes.
