Earlier this week, Chiefs backup quarterback Brady Quinn said he’d been cleared to play after suffering a concussion against the Raiders last month after he was named the starter in relief on the incumbent Matt Cassel. Then Head Coach Romeo Crennel said Quinn wasn’t cleared to play, and Cassel would start against the Bengals.
According to the NFL Network, Quinn has been cleared to play and will be the backup to Cassel on Sunday, so don’t be shocked to see Quinn play if Cassel continues his turnover-prone ways.
