After going through practice fully the past two days WR Andrew Hawkins is suddenly being listed as questionable with a knee injury. Hawkins reportedly strained his knee during practice, and he will be evaluated again tomorrow, and will likely be a gametime decision. If he is out, expect to see rookie Mohamed Sanu, fresh off his career-performance against the New York Giants last week, to play the majority of Sunday’s contest against the Kansas City Chiefs, who have allowed 18 touchdowns this year, the 6th-most in the NFL.
Starting safety Reggie Nelson is listed as doubtful with a hamstring injury. He hasn’t practiced all week, so he’s out.
As for rookie WR Marvin Jones, he did practice in a limited capacity yesterday, but don’t expect to see him suit up Sunday.
Center Jeff Faine is alos listed as questionable, but given the recent performance of rookie Trevor Robinson, there’s no need for Faine to suit up in anything other than an emergency injury role.

Chiefs starting center Ryan Lilja first popped up on the injury report today, and losing your starting center before having to face Geno Atkins is not good news for any NFL team.
