Raiders injury Report
RB Darren McFadden (ankle) missed practice again on Thursday. Backup RB Mike Goodson (ankle) didn’t practice either, and it’s unlikely that either back will be ready to suit for Sunday’s contest. Expect to see sarting FB Marcel Reece getting the nod at RB after he accounted for nearly 200 all-purpose yards last week vs. the Saints.
With the emergence of rookie receiver Mohamed Sanu over the past two games, the Bengals offense is on the verge of becoming close to unstoppable if slot receiver Andrew Hawkins is able to return from his knee injury he suffered in practice last week. After failing to practice today, don’t expect to see Baby Hawk on Sunday vs. the Raiders, as he has now been held out of practice all week.
Reserve TE Richard Quinn (hamstring) was the only other player to completely miss practice.
CB Adam Jones (calf) practiced in a limited fashion after missing Wednesday’s session. Expect to see him as a gametime call Sunday. If he isn’t able to suit up, expect to see rookie CB Dre Kirkpatrick get the most snaps he’s had all season. He played 26 snaps (46%) on defense last week.
This will actually be one the healthiest game the Bengals have had all year, with only two potential starters missing the game.
