Week 12 of the NFL is almost here, as a Thanksgiving triple header will kickoff tomorrow stating at noon. The to matchup of the day has to be the Houston Texans, looking to improve on their AFC-best 9-1 record, head to Detroit to face a Lions team desperately needing a win at 4-6 and their playoff hops fading.

The Cowboys will certainly have their hands full with phenom rookie Robert Griffin III. Rob Ryan’s defense will have to find a way to shut the rookie down, and with the experience of a veteran defense led by All-Pro DeMarcus Ware, can the Boyz contain the dynamic Redskins offense as they look to make a late-season postseason push? Whatever the result, this game will be a another classic game in their historic rivalry.

The Patriots are on the verge of winning their ninth AFC East division title in 10 years, though when they head to New York for the finale of the NFL Thanksgiving triple-header, they’ll have to do so without one of, if not the NFL’s top touchdown threat, as All-Pro TE Rob Gronkowski is out with a broken forearm. The Patriots have won 15 of the last 19 regular-season meetings including four straight, so history will be on their side. The Jets at 4-6 are trying to keep their slim playoff hopes alive.
