Is it the Bengals? They’ve outscored their last three opponents by 64 points, as they continue to make leaps and bounds on both sides of the ball. Can we trust that consistency when their last two wins were over the Chiefs and Raiders?

Perhaps it’s the Patriots? They continue to put tons of points on the scoreboard, for sure. To Brady is having his usual career year, using that arm to get big wins. But that defense is scary. In fact, it allows almost as many points as the offense puts up in some cases.

The Colts are looking good too. They seem to be very well-rounded, and keep winning in Luck’s rookie year. Is it just that? Luck? Probably not, but are we ready to buy into the team being dependable after a close game against the Bills followed a blowout against the Patriots?

What about the Jets? That was a joke.

It’s a good guess that many of the current division leaders will go to the playoffs, if not all of them. However, the playoff winners are often decided by who gets hot at the right time. Look at the Giants last year. I still don’t get it.
