The Chargers are reeling and another loss may finally lead the club to due what they should have done three years ago and finally fire Head Coach Norv Turner.

Still, I think this will be a tough game for the Bengals. They rarely play well on the west coast, and the Chargers have a stout run defense that will makeCincinnatione-dimensional and put the game in Andy Dalton’s hands. I believe the red head will keep up his red-hot play of late and pick apart a banged-up Chargers secondary as he leads the Bengals to their fourth-straight victory.

Bengals 23, Chargers 20

The Bengals visit San Diego for the first time since the game after Chris Henry passed away. While this time will be less emotionally charged, the Bengals do have a team on a roll against a struggling Chargers squad. None of the Chargers wide receivers are especially threatening, and tight end Antonio Gates is the biggest threat offensively. But, with the Chargers offensive line in disarray, Philip Rivers will struggle to find him under duress.

Defensively, the Chargers are solid in the backfield but weakened by the loss of safety Atari Bigby. A.J. Green will have no problem taking advantage of cornerback Quentin Jammer, and a pass rush led by rookie Melvin Ingram will have trouble reaching Andy Dalton. What the Chargers will be able to do is stop the run, and the Bengals will likely be turned into a more one-dimensional offense again.

Still, that is not enough for the Chargers to pull out an upset. Look for the Bengals to roll, 28 – 13.

Bengals-Chargers: We’re hot, they’re not. Of course we’ve been hot before, to a team that was not, and have lost, bad. But this isn’t the same Bengals, I feel like it will be closer than the past three games, but this is important for our young team, win a close game against a quality team. And they’re a little banged up which helps us out.

23-24 Bengals

The Bengals are riding high, but this will be the toughest road test they have faced in some time.San Diegowill be in desperation mode, as its faint playoff hopes will expire with another loss. The same could be said about one Norvell Turner’s job prospects, but then, we have said that before. The Chargers offense has struggled with consistency all year, while theCincinnatidefense appears to be peaking. The Bengals pull out a close one to keep pace in the wild card chase.

Bengals 20, Chargers 13.
