I’m writing you all to let you know that Verizon was nice enough to grant Stripe Hype the opportunity to test its Droid RAZR M phone for free for the rest of the NFL season. I’ve been testing the phone for over three months now, and I must say I am very impressed with the performance and reliability of this phone. It’s withstood nearly everything I could throw at it.

For my latest review, I chose mainly to focus on the reliability of the signal compared to my iphone 5. There are very few places the RAZR can’t pick up a signal, while I will often find spots my i phone simply can’t seem to find one. Whenever I’m in large buildings, it’s very hard for my i phone to pick up a consistent signal, while the RAZR is more reliable at keeping one, though the difference is only about one bar.

The apps work fast and flawlessly compared to that of the i phone. The RAZR almost never has an app crash, and twittter works notably faster on the RAZR than on my i phone.

As the season goes on and I’m able to use it more, I’ll continue to post updates on how well it performs and my various experiences with it.
