Week 14 of the NFL season kicks-off tonight with an AFC West clash pitting the Denver Broncos against the Oakland Raiders. On the injury front, the Raiders already know they’ll be without Pro Bowl DE Richard Seymour, who will miss his fifth straight game for the Raiders with knee and hamstring injuries. The Broncos will be without OLB Wesley Woodyard, who did not travel with the team.
With the college football season ending, we’ll now begin to see the nation’s top underclassman prospects decide if they will declare for the draft or return to school. Cal wide receiver/returner Keenan Allen became the first big-name prospect to do such, as he announced Wednesday that he intends to enter the 2013 NFL Draft. He finishes his Cal career as the school’s all-time leader with 205 receptions, while ranking third with 2,570 receiving yards and seventh with 17 touchdown catches.
The Giants placed OT Sean Locklear on injured reserve as a result of the serious knee injury he suffered on Monday Night Football.
