Early NFL Recap: Steelers Throttled by Chargers

St. Louis 15, Buffalo 12: Sam Bradford hit Brandon Gibson in the final minute with a 13 yard touchdown pass to give the Rams the win on the road. Gibson finished with 100 receiving yards, while Steven Jackson also had a short touchdown run.

Cleveland 30, Kansas City 7: One week after winning just their second game of the year the Chiefs got back to their usual tricks in the blowout loss to the Browns. Trent Richardson scored two touchdown runs, and Cleveland has won three straight.

Indianapolis 27, Tennessee 23: Another week, another miracle comeback for the Colts. Indianapolis came back from a 13 point deficit in outscoring the Titans 20-3 in the second half. Cassius Vaughn had a huge pick six for the Colts in the third quarter, and Adam Vinatieri kicked two fourth quarter field goals to seal the win.

Minnesota 21, Chicago 14: Adrian Peterson continued his amazing season coming back from ACL surgery, rushing for 154 yards and two touchdowns to lead the Vikings to the win. Minnesota improved to 7-6 in staying in the midst of the NFC Wild Card chase.

San Diego 34, Pittsburgh 24: Phillip Rivers threw for three touchdowns in spoiling Ben Roethlisberger’s return, as the Chargers pulled off the upset victory in Pittsburgh. The Steelers drop to 7-6 and remain tied with the Bengals for the final wild card spot.
