2013 NFL Mock Draft: The Cincinnati Bengals Select…

The second official FanSided 2013 NFL Mock Draft of the year has been released.

The draft boards are sure to change a lot over the coming weeks so it will be fun to track all the players the Bengals take in these mocks. Last week, we had the Bengals drafting Oregon defensive end/linebacker Dion Jordan. With that in mind, here is our latest projection:

Note: This is a mock based on last week’s standing, where the Bengals would have drafted from the 17th spot.

With the 17th pick in the 2013 NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals select:

Sam Montgomery – DE/LSU

Montgomery is a monster and was more productive than his teammate Barkevious Mingo who will be selected well ahead of him in the draft. The knock on him is that his ceiling isn’t as high as Mingo’s but that shouldn’t stop him from being a mid-round pick as he fits in just about any 4-3 defense in the NFL and can make plays now.

So right now the pick is Montgomery. What do you guys think?
