This week’s events may be a clear sign that Mike Brown needs to invest in getting the Bengals a practice bubble, starting weakside linebacker Vontaze Burfict sat out Friday’s practice because of an illness that is believed to be the flu. It’s unclear how serious the illness is and if it will affect his ability to play on Sunday.

Meanwhile starting defensive end Carlos Dunlap missed Wednesday’s practice with an illness (also believed to be the flu). This has become a yearly occurrence towards the end of the season with Cincinnati. If you recall, Andy Dalton was hit with the flu bug the week of the teams’ playoff game against the Houston Texans. Dalton finished that game 24/42 for 257 yards and three interceptions with no touchdowns in one of the worst games of his career.

I would like to point out how much of an idiot you are for thinking colds/flus are caused because mike brown is cheap and wont buy a practice bubble. These boys are not sick because they are practicing in the cold but because they are being passed germs from lets say…their kids, dirty knobs, sharing water bottles with sick people or the many other ways people get sick around this time of year. The germs thrive during this year yes because it is “cold” outside but practicing under a practice bubble is not going to protect these guys from getting sick! And besides its best they dont practice under one cause at least this way they will be prepared for any type of weather cobditions when they play.
