This Sunday, the Bengals will be looking to reach the NFL playoffs for the fourth time in eleven seasons under Lewis. Not even the great Paul Brown was able to lead Cincinnati to the postseason four times, and it would be just another franchise-first that Lewis would have under his belt.
A win Sunday and a loss by the Baltimore Ravens would give the Bengals a chance to win the AFC North in their Week 17 showdown. Lewis would then become the only head coach to ever lead the Bengals to three division titles.
Love him or hate, you can’t deny what he’s done for the Cincinnati Bengals franchise.
