Week 16 is just a few hours away from kicking-off, as the run to the postseason is hitting it’s climax with several team fighting for postseason positioning and a chance to lay their hands on the Lombardi Trophy in the Super Bowl. The Atlanta Falcons are in Detroit looking to lock up home-field advantage throughout the NFC playoffs while the disappointing Lions are looking to build momentum for 2013 and save the job of their head coach, Jim Schwartz.
Falcons WR Roddy White has yet to miss a game during his NFL career. White’s consecutive games streak currently stands at 126, the second-longest active streak among NFL receivers, and that streak appeared to be in jeopardy tonight with White listed as questionable with a knee injury.
However, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that White will play tonight, extending his streak to 127 games played.
