With all of the Bengals’ success over the past two seasons, you’d think coaches were getting promoted and/or higher-paying jobs elsewhere, but so far, the only coach to depart Cincinnati for a better job has was secondary coach Kevin Coyle, who is now the Miami Dolphins defensive coordinator.
As for this year’s staff, the only news to report is the Arizona Cardinals confirmed they plan to interview offensive coordinator Jay Gruden this week for their vacant head coaching job.
But ask anyone in Bengaldom, and they’ll say they could care less about losing any coach not named Mike Zimmer, and they may just be getting their wish, as Zim revealed today that he hasn’t head from any team regarding an open coaching job:
