The Pro Football Hall of Fame announced its list of 15 finalists. The four first-time eligible nominees include guard Larry Allen, tackle Jonathan Ogden, defensive tackle Warren Sapp and defensive end Michael Strahan.

10 finalists who missed last year’s final cut include running back Jerome Bettis, wide receivers Tim Brown, Cris Carter and Andre Reed, guard Will Shields, defensive end Charles Haley, linebacker Kevin Greene, cornerback Aeneas Williams, head coach Bill Parcells, owner Ed DeBartolo, Jr., and owner Art Modell.

The two senior nominees will be former Chiefs and Oilers defensive tackle Curley Culp and former Packers/Redskins linebacker Dave Robinson.

Congratulationa to all of these men for their life-time achievements and contributuins to the game we all love to watch each and every Sunday. Hopefully in the future, the Bengals will see more of their own in the HOF, the most notable of which being former quarterback Ken Anderson, who would have to be a senior nominee now.
