Week in Review: NFL Draft Order: Bengals Select 21st, Which Worked Well Last Year

Because the Bengals’ season ended on Saturday with them having the worst record of any NFL playoff team, they will now have the highest draft position of any playoff team this year at pick #21, the same spot they had last year, which they traded to New En gland in exchange for pick #27 (Kevin Zeitler), and pick #93 pick (Brandon Thompson).

Zeitler alone made that trade a great one, as Zeitler finished with a +13.3 grade by Pro Football Focus, the 4th-best by a Bengals offensive player, and the 12th-best by anyt NFL guard. He allowed just four sacks and one QB-hit the entire 2012 season while starting every game in the defensively-stout AFC North.

Here’s the rest of the NFL Draft order as it currently stands:

1) Kansas City Chiefs
2) Jacksonville Jaguars
3) Oakland Raiders
4) Philadelphia Eagles
5) Detroit Lions
6) Cleveland Browns
7) Arizona Cardinals
8) Buffalo Bills
9) New York Jets
10) Tennessee Titans
11) San Diego Chargers
12) Miami Dolphins
13) Tampa Bay Buccaneers
14) Carolina Panthers
15) New Orleans Saints
16) St. Louis Rams
17) Pittsburgh Steelers
18) Dallas Cowboys
19) New York Giants
20) Chicago Bears
21) Cincinnati Bengals
22) Washington Redskins
23) Minnesota Vikings
24) Indianapolis Colts
