The Philadelphia Eagles held a follow-up interview with Seahawks Defensive Coordinator Gus Bradley today, and it appears as though he’s the Eagles  top choice now. They previously interviewed him on Saturday along with Notre Dame Head Coach Brian Kelly, who eventually spurned them to return to the Irish.

Former Ravens Head Coach Brian Billick also interviewed for the Philadelphia Eagles’ coaching vacancy last week. Also, the Eagles announced on Monday that they interviewed on Monday former Cardinals coach Ken Whisenhunt.

It’s become evident that the Eagles are now looking elsewhere after interviewing Jay Gruden on Monday.

The Jacksonville Jaguars are thought to be interested in bringing Jay in for an interview, but nothing has materialized yet. They’re expected to heavily purse San Franciso 49ers Offensive Coordinator Greg Roman after he coaches in Sunday’s NFC Championship game.

The Arizona Cardinals have also interview Jay, and Joe Reedy believes they are deciding between Gruden and current Cards Defensive Coordinator Ray Horton. It would appear as though the Cardinals are the biggest threat to steal Gruden away. While Jay has said he wants to be back in Cincinnati, he probably made those statements while not expecting to be offered a head-coaching gig after his offense scored one touchdown in their last 38 possessions.

Let that sink in for a minute and tell me you’d want Jay to be your head coach.
