3. Dre Kirkpatrick CB
Dre Kirkpatrick pretty much red shirted his rookie season having very few defensive snaps and missing almost the entire season with injuries. Kirkpatrick will obviously get much more playing time next season and will have a huge chance to start with Adam Jones about to hit free agency and Terrence Newman continuing to age. Personally, I am very excited to see Kirkpatrick play and with how good the Bengals picked in the draft last season, it wouldn’t surprise me if Dre comes in and makes a nice cornerback tandem with Leon Hall.
2. Mohamed Sanu WR
Sanu was just starting to hold down the number 2 WR spot when he suffered his season ending foot surgery and it always sucks to see a player’s success stopped by injury. He had 4 touchdowns in 3 games and was finally giving the Bengals another red zone option to compliment Green. Sanu showed how great he was in the slot and that he has very reliable hands. Sanu won’t get that many receiving yards with Marvin Jones and AJ Green on his team but I can honestly see him catching 10 touchdowns no problem next year. If they are going to double Green, Sanu will make them pay.
