While all the focus is currently on the Super bowl set to be played in less than two weeks, the biggest headline yesterday was the New York Jets looking into trading All-Pro cornerback Darrelle Revis. While regarded as the league’s best CB, Revis is coming off of season ending knee surgery, and will become a free agent in 2014, leading owner Woody Johnson to not only explore trading Revis, but Johnson is so pessimistic about the Jets’ chances of re-signing Revis to a long-term contract before he becomes a free agent in 2014, that Revis is already gone in his mind.

Buffalo Bills Offensive Coordinator Nathaniel Hackett is being noncommittal  about Ryan Fitzpatrick being right quarterback to lead the team.

Free agent strong safety Patrick Chung is unlikely to be re-signed by the New England Patriots.

Oakland Raiders Head Coach Dennis Allen has confirmed there will be competition at the quarterback position this summer, and Carson Palmer will not be handed the starting role next season.
